My Capybara is a fun and adorable way to turn special clothes and precious memories into a keepsake you can treasure forever. With its cute shape and cuddly feel, the Capybara makes a wonderful memory keepsake and is perfect for displaying, cuddling and keeping close to those memories that mean so much. Just like all of my memory makes, your Capybara can be made exactly how you want it. I can work with you to choose the colours, fabrics and special details that make your Capybara completely unique to you. It could be made from a favourite shirt, PJs, a school uniform, football kit, baby grows or a much loved outfit. I can use special parts of the clothing, such as pockets, buttons, logos, badges or other details, so that the memories can be seen and enjoyed for years to come. A Capybara is also a beautiful way to preserve those precious baby memories. Turn baby's first clothes into something you can keep forever, or use those adorable babies Christmas clothes to create a special reminder of those magical early days. It can be made from school uniform, PJs, football kits, baby grows, dresses, jumpers, hoodies, work uniforms, sports kits, dance outfits, christening clothes and favourite everyday clothing. Maybe it's made from a favourite football kit, a school uniform from a special year, a much loved shirt or baby's first clothes that are simply too precious to part with. I love being able to make each Capybara differently, taking your ideas and the clothing you provide and turning them into something that feels truly personal. You can choose how you would like it to look, and I will help bring your ideas to life. Every piece of clothing has a story, and your Capybara gives those memories a new life in a fun and cuddly way. Whether it's baby's first clothes, babies Christmas clothes, a school uniform, a favourite shirt, PJs or a football kit, your Capybara will be made with love and created especially for you. Your order number is how Laura matches the parcel you send to your keepsake, so keep it handy. You can also browse recent work or read customer reviews before you order.

    Once payment clears you’ll see where to send your clothing.

    Post your clothing

    Pack it securely with your order number inside. Tracked postage is best.

    Clothing arrives

    Laura emails you when your parcel arrives. The 6–10 week estimate starts from then.

    Back to you

    Finished UK orders are posted back by tracked delivery, and you’ll get the tracking number by email.

How much clothing should I send?

It depends on the design and on the clothing itself. If you’re not sure, send Laura a photo before ordering. Please send clothing clean, and only send pieces you’re happy to have cut and permanently altered.

Turnaround & delivery

Making currently takes around 6–10 weeks from the day Laura receives your clothing. It’s an estimate rather than a fixed date. You pay to post your clothing; finished UK orders come back by free tracked delivery.

Appearance & variations

Yours will be the same design as the photos, but the type of fabric, its pattern, age, wear and any marks will all show in the finished keepsake.

Cancellations & your rights

Because each keepsake is made to order from your clothing, the usual right to cancel for a change of mind doesn’t generally apply. Your statutory rights if something is faulty or not as described are not affected. Read returns and cancellations.
