How it works: ordering, delivery and turnaround
What happens between placing your order and getting your keepsake back.
Ordering and payment
Choose a design and any extras, then add notes about your clothing in the basket. You pay securely online at checkout.
Once payment is confirmed, you’ll see where to send your clothing. The same details, along with your order number, are sent to you by email.
Sending your clothing
- Pack your clothing securely and put your order number inside the parcel, written on a piece of paper, so Laura can match it to your order.
- Please send clothing clean, and only send pieces you’re happy to have cut and permanently altered.
- You pay the postage to send your clothing. Tracked postage is best, especially for anything you couldn’t replace.
Laura will email you when your parcel arrives.
Will my clothing work?
Every garment is different, so there isn’t one answer to whether you have enough fabric, whether a particular item will work, or whether two pieces can be combined. If you’re unsure, send Laura a photo before ordering, along with the design you have in mind, and she’ll advise you.
If Laura has any concerns once your clothing arrives, such as not enough usable fabric or a fabric that won’t suit the design, she’ll get in touch before going any further.
Current turnaround
Making currently takes around 6–10 weeks from the day your clothing arrives, not from the day you order.
It’s an estimate rather than a guaranteed date, and it can occasionally take longer, for example with larger orders or if Laura needs to check something with you first.

UK delivery
Tracked delivery of your finished keepsake to a UK address is included in the price, unless it says otherwise before checkout. When it’s posted, you’ll get an email with the tracking number.
Need it by a particular date?
If you need a keepsake for a birthday, Christmas or another date, please ask Laura before ordering so she can tell you whether it’s realistic.
